Hello everyone! Just wanted to throw up a quick note letting everyone know I am still here and that the DVDs are still for sale. As announced last year, this site will be shutting down most likely in June when the server is up for renewal.

But not to worry, all content will be moved to vanessamarcil-bb.com. On VMC we are continuing to update with the latest news for all things Vanessa and that includes J&B content.

Rumors are swirling that Vanessa could possibly return to General Hospital soon since Las Vegas has been cancelled. However, since Jax is so involved with Carly it is unlikely that any story that Brenda might have will involve a J&B reunion.

Hello everyone, I have some news to report on the site.

Sadly, I've decided to put the site on hiatus. Afterglow will indeed be closing sometime this year. But not to worry, all of my clips will be moving to the The Vanessa Marcil Connection's J&B page. I now co own that site along with alma so all new content will now be archived over there.

I will continue to sell J&B DVDs. They are currently for sale and will continue to be for sale even once we move over to VMC.

Also, as stated above the site will remain open for the remainder of the year while I move everything over to VMC. I would like to thank everyone that has visited the site over the past few years. It's been a lot of fun for me as well. I hope that you will all continue to enjoy J&B's run over on the new site.

Just wanted to throw up a little note letting everyone know I'm still around. I do apologize for the lack of updates but since there are so many videos already on the site I figure they are holding people over.

The site will stay open indefinitely, and the DVDs are still available for sale. It amazes me how many orders I still get despite the fact that J&B have been over for more than four years.

As I'm sure most of you know, Las Vegas has been renewed for a fifth season and will air 22 episodes for the 2007-2008 fall tv season. Tom Selleck has been cast as the new owner - replacing James Caan who left to return to film.

Ingo's contract with General Hospital expires this fall. It is unknown if he will stay or go. But due to how poorly they have written Jax this year - I don't think anyone would be shocked if he finally did leave.

For the latest Vanessa updates please refer to VMC. Alma and I do our best to keep the site updated with everything current. You will find all of her recent magazine spreads up as well as other soap mag scans and Vegas media.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I haven't forgotten about the site and I will be updating in the next week with lots of new videos and other tidbits. Stay tuned!

I know, it's been two months since I updated. My apologies. I am really going to try to update more regularly from here on out. I've got a lot of old vintage promos, interviews, and of course regular clips ready made.

For now I've uploaded a few new clips and reuploaded some old ones totally 5 videos. The videos are centered around Miranda coming to town and J&B dealing with the lies between them and the lies Jax's family told him. There's also a classic clip of Brenda clashing with Tracey Q and the 1996 Christmas Party. View the clips: here. The new clips are all marked.

Well it seems 'the next few days' turned into a month. I apologize for the lack of updates but hopefully this massive one will make up for it!

I have uploaded 13 new videos. Eight of the videos center around Brenda and Jax's 1996 wedding that never happened thanks to Miranda's resurrection. The clips include various scenes following the wedding at the hospital after John's Heart attack. Brenda meeting Miranda, Brenda and Jax's first confrontation after the wedding, Brenda breaking down at the hospital with Ruby and Mike, ect.  View the clips: here. The new clips are all marked.

The other 5 videos are of Vintage Brenda. Hilarious scenes of early Brenda including the first time she meets Lois, various scenes of Brenda yelling at Ned for his double life, and a few early Brenda/Jason/AJ scenes including a dance with Jason at Jagger's bachelor party. Good stuff!

Vanessa was on the cover of the May issue of Jezebel - an Atlanta based magazine. If you haven't already seen the scans you can check them out in the Gallery.

Vanessa was on the Martha Stuart show today. I made some screencaps  for those that missed it. I will also have a video of it up later. And if you haven't heard already Las Vegas has been renewed for a forth season.

I've also been revamping the gallery. Just just bear with me as I move it all over to a new layout. In addition to the gallery, I will be updating in the next few days with some new affiliates and more videos. So stay tuned.

A little video update for everyone. I uploaded Jax and Brenda's entire Non Wedding in 1996 when Sonny brought Miranda to the wedding leading to chaos. You can view the videos in this section: Part One Videos.

I've uploaded five new video clips. Two from Brenda's Return and three clips of Brenda telling Jax about her drug addiction back in 1997. Also, Vanessa appeared on Ellen with the rest of the Vegas cast last Friday - we have screencaps of her appearance.

Welcome to the new and improved Afterglow. It's been 10 years since Jax and Brenda first graced our screens and we thought a new layout was in order. We hope you like it :)

And as promised, I have uploaded 10 new videos to the second part of Jax and Brenda's story. They cover Robin and Brenda's quest to find Brenda an agent in NYC, Brenda fighting jealously over Ashley hosting a party at the Penthouse with Jax, Brenda's new gig as a Genie and Jax's reaction to it, Brenda's Ned Kelly gift to Jax, Jax punching Mac out, and many scenes with J&B surrounding Robin's kidnapping. I've also reuploaded some old scenes which include J&B's 1997 Thanksgiving and the 1998 Nurses Ball opening.

Jax and Brenda's Top Ten Videos as voted on by you all have also been reuploaded.

There is a really cute interview Vanessa did for TVGuide a few days ago. She talks a lot about Vegas and her son. Vanessa is also on the cover of this week's Soap Opera Digest. I'll put up the scans for that later. I do have a scan of Vanessa in a new Las Vegas Advertisement featured in the new People Magazine.

I've made many more video clips and I have a lot of screencaps so expect the updates to be a lot more regular from now on. Also some of the links around the site aren't working - those will be fixed in time as well.

Welcome to Afterglow, the premiere fansite for General Hospital's former supercouple Jax and Brenda and their talented portrayers Ingo Rademacher and Vanessa Marcil. Afterglow has been online since June 2004.

Las Vegas has been cancelled and rumors are now swirling that GH has made Vanessa Marcil a deal to return to General Hospital on a short term basis. Vanessa has not yet accepted the deal according to press reports.
